How CoParynt handles personal, family, and parenting-plan information.

This Privacy Policy explains what CoParynt collects, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to parents who use the CoParynt website, apps, and related services.

Last updated: April 22, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created as you use CoParynt, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

This may include your name, email address, authentication details, profile information, relationship and household details, finalized parenting-plan records, calendar configuration, events, overrides, messages, AI-assisted drafting inputs and outputs, support requests, and device or browser information such as IP address, pages visited, and diagnostic logs.

CoParynt may also store information related to children and family routines when that information is entered by a parent or authorized user as part of the plan, calendar, or shared parenting workflow.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, and improve CoParynt.

This includes authenticating users, loading shared parenting records, showing calendar ownership and exchanges, supporting plan review and change workflows, powering AI-assisted drafting or explanations, responding to support requests, preventing misuse, protecting account security, complying with legal obligations, and analyzing service performance.

3. AI-assisted features

CoParynt may use AI-assisted features to help parents summarize information, draft language, organize issues, or understand schedule context. AI-generated content is intended to support communication and planning workflows; it does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, or mental health advice.

When you use AI features, CoParynt may process prompts, related parenting-plan information, and relevant calendar context to generate results. We use that information only to operate the requested feature, maintain service quality, investigate misuse, and improve the reliability and safety of the product consistent with this policy and applicable law.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate CoParynt, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

We may share information with:

service providers who host infrastructure, support authentication, analytics, communications, storage, or AI processing; the other parent or authorized participants in the same shared parenting workspace; legal authorities or other parties when required by law, court order, or valid legal process; and professional advisers or transaction counterparties in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain shared parenting records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the integrity and security of CoParynt.

Some information may remain in backups, system logs, or legal archives for a limited period after deletion. If one parent deletes an account, certain shared records may remain available to the other parent or within the shared relationship workspace where continued retention is necessary to preserve the plan history, calendar integrity, or legal record of shared activity.

6. Your choices and rights

You may update certain account information in the service, request support, or ask us to delete your account as described on the Delete Account page.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to receive information about how it is processed. To submit a privacy request, email support@coparynt.com.

7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

CoParynt may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, and understand how the service is used. Some of these technologies are necessary for core product functionality.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or consent choices for non-essential analytics or similar technologies.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s information

CoParynt is designed for use by parents, guardians, and other authorized adults managing shared parenting arrangements. It is not directed to children as a standalone consumer service.

Any child-related information processed through CoParynt is handled only as part of the parent-managed family coordination service described in this policy.

10. Changes to this policy and contact details

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice inside the product or by email.

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@coparynt.com.
